About the Cesium Chloride (CsCl)
Unlike NaCl, CsCl does not have an FCC lattice. It's a simple cubic arrangement with alternating ions, giving 8:8 coordination — highest among ionic compounds. Adopted when the cation is large (e.g., Cs⁺, Tl⁺).
